Switch is a daily quiz show broadcast by VRT where the core mechanic, contestants constantly switching positions, directly defines the structure of the studio. Movement, ranking and momentum are not just part of the gameplay, they shape the entire spatial and visual logic of the show.

For Switch, IT’S YES handled the full production from day one, translating the quiz concept developed by Panenka into a fully integrated studio design. Scenic elements, lighting and camera positions are conceived as one system, engineered around movement, timing and clear visual storytelling.

The set acts as a direct extension of the game rules. Contestant positions, audience visibility and camera angles are carefully aligned to make the flow of the game instantly readable, both in the studio and on screen. This results in a highly efficient setup where recordings can run almost automatically, even under the pressure of daily production.

Built entirely in-house, the studio is installed, operated and rebuilt each year across multiple locations. Designed for intensive summer recording periods since 2016, the system combines durability with flexibility. Accessibility is fully integrated into the design, allowing all participants to take part without compromising the visual or technical quality of the show. A studio where game logic, design and production merge into one seamless system.
