For the launch of a new Polestar model, IT’S YES developed a compact activation translating the car’s lighting technology into a physical, interactive installation. The concept was deployed across two showroom locations in Ghent and Antwerp.

At the core of the installation is a pixel LED system inspired by the functionality of Polestar’s headlights. Using motion detection, the setup responds to passers-by in real time: light follows movement, highlights presence and adapts continuously, mirroring how the car detects objects and adjusts its beams accordingly.

The installation was designed to live in the showroom window, turning the façade into a dynamic interface between brand and street. A large-scale interpretation of the headlight technology was custom built to make the system tangible and visible from a distance.

From concept and render to fabrication, installation and final dismantling, IT’S YES delivered the full production. One installation, deployed across two locations, engineered for precision, repeatability and continuous public interaction.
