Gelukkig Gescheiden is a television format where storytelling, emotion and gameplay come together in a carefully structured studio environment. Starting from the game concept, IT’S YES designed and produced the full studio from scratch, translating the narrative of love, separation and connection into a physical space.
The set is developed as a high-end environment with a strong visual identity, using soft textures, warm tones and a dominant scarlet palette to enhance the intimate theme of the show. A custom-built backdrop in the shape of a separated wedding cake anchors the presenter position, adding a recognisable and symbolic element to the studio.
All elements, from scenography and lighting to camera positions and audience integration, are designed as one system. The lighting plan supports both the emotional tone of the format and the presence of a live audience, while the structure is engineered to accommodate different gameplay moments throughout the show.
Built, installed and operated by IT’S YES, the studio is designed for broadcast precision and visual consistency. This project from Panenka was nominated for the Rose d’Or, confirming its strength as a fully integrated television production environment.
