A daily show moves quickly, but also needs atmosphere. For De Dag van Vandaag, IT’S YES designed and built a studio environment that balances rhythm, clarity and a warm, late-night feel.
Conceived around the logic of a talk show, the space brings host, guests and audience into close proximity, supporting a relaxed and playful dynamic on screen. Presenter positions, panel areas and interaction zones are structured into a clear scenic system that guides both camera storytelling and production flow.
A defining element of the design is the large circular frieze, referencing a 24-hour dial and subtly anchoring the show within the rhythm of a full day. Integrated lighting positions and practical elements are embedded into the set, creating a cohesive and controlled broadcast environment.
Developed and built entirely in-house by IT’S YES, the studio combines scenic fabrication, carpentry and durable finishing techniques designed for intensive daily use. A studio built for television, designed to perform every day while bringing the day to a close.
