• Merelbeke atelier + on location

  • Full-time or freelance

We’re looking for a set builder with technical insight, a precise hand, and a practical mindset. Someone who understands how to turn plans into solid structures. You work in our workshop and on site, preparing, assembling and finishing with care.

Who we are

We are a creative & production studio specialised in set and light design for television and live events. With a multidisciplinary team, an in-house design studio, and our own atelier, we build custom sets that are engineered to perform and camera-proof by default. Everything happens under one roof, which means we move fast, work with precision, and stay in full control.

This is where hands get to work and things get made. Clients come to us with a vision, we shape it into something real. Throughout the process, every decision is driven by quality: the people we work with, the materials we select, and the way we think and execute.

We don’t settle for 80%. Or even 100%. We give it 200% — every time.

What you’ll do

  • Build custom wooden structures and scenic elements based on technical drawings

  • Prepare and finish all pieces: filling, sanding, prepping for transport

  • Assist with technical setup on location

  • Help think through technical solutions

  • Collaborate with designers, technical leads, and fellow makers

What we expect

  • Background in carpentry, wood construction or interior building

  • Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus, not a requirement

  • Extra experience is welcome, but your mindset and commitment matter more

  • Accuracy, initiative, and the ability to interpret plans correctly

  • Flexible, punctual, hands-on, and comfortable with variety in tasks and settings

  • A team player who can also work independently

  • Standard hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with occasional work outside regular hours

  • A valid driver’s license B (BE or C is a plus)

What you’ll get in return

  • A full-time position in day shift, with extra benefits

  • Fair pay in line with your experience

  • Project-based work, alternating between workshop and on-site

  • Work in various industries where camera-ready sets are essential — from TV shows to festivals

  • All necessary tools and equipment provided

  • A professional and supportive team committed to quality

  • Opportunities to grow in skill and responsibility
